To us good DESIGN relates to the following:
Because form, function and visual appearance are not enough: We need to understand the user; the environment; the history;
the geography; the culture and many other specific things to create a good design.
Design is not an isolated discipline.
Because there is no other option.
Good design does not make a negative impact on the environment nor does it harm people or biodiversity in its production or lifetime. To be neutral, the product must always be able to enter a new material lifecycle as recycled or biodegraded into nature.
When possible it should educate the user.
Ideally all design would be biodegradable, but as long as the world generates thousands of tons of rubbish every hour, we have to relate to trash
as a prime material.
Not just because we believe in having fun; A creative work environment and process improves the design in all its' fases.
A creative approach to problem solving facilitates unexpected and inventive solutions.
To learn we must play and explore.
